738 health professionals from Istanbul ranked the risk of everyday activities for COVID-19 in the Istanbul metropolitan area.
The risk scores are a weighted average of these rankings out of 5.
Risk levels for COVID-19 exposure increase with the following:
- Crowded places
- Closed spaces
- Close-contact settings
- Long-lasting interaction/activity
- Forceful exhalation (sneezing, yelling, singing, and coughing)
The most risky situations occur when the 5 factors are combined. Avoid them, not only to protect yourself, but others as well.
